Ernst Hoyos and Lisa Wilcox Clinics

Lisa and Ernst first came to Texas in 2003 when they headlined the USDF Symposium.  This symposium was the largest USDF symposium ever and attracted more than 1000 auditors!  Lisa's accomplishments include the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain where she placed fifth individually and the team earned the Silver Medal.  In 2004 she competed in the Olympics where she won a team Bronze Medal. For the past nine years she has based her business in the US and has trained and competed many horses through the Grand Prix level.  Several of these horses have earned spots on the US Equestrian team long and short lists for International Championships.  Ernst, an Austrian national who is based in Germany, is one of the top trainers of horses and riders in the world.  He trained at the Spanish Riding School for 29 years and has made his mark at the famous Vorwerk Stud where he worked in concert with Jo Hinnemann before taking over full time.  He has developed countless horses and Olympic competitors such as Lisa Wilcox, Ulla Salzgeber, and Heike Kemmer.  He is the only trainer to hold the distinction of having the top three ranked riders in the world at the same time--Lisa was the number two ranked rider.  We are so honored to have them at our facility to work with our horses and the horses of our students and colleagues.

Our first clinic with the duo was in October in 2017.  We are following up with a series of clinics this winter of 2018 with Ernst Hoyos.  There are limited openings for riders and auditors are welcome with pre registration and payment.
