2017 Wrap Up

2017 was a big year for LTR Dressage!  We welcomed a lot of new horses and some new riders to the team.  As always, we made more improvements and additions to our facility!  The competitions were very successful as many students tested new levels, debuted their new horses, and earned awards all along the way.  Visit the galleries to learn more about our big year!

Scroll through this gallery to see ALL of the team members from the entire season!  We had a great year with wonderful performances from  so many individuals.   We had a lot of wins, championships, and USDF medals earned, and we all learned a lot along the way. We can't wait to see the progress 2018 brings!

Some of the highlights include Lyndon making his debut with his new KWPN gelding Disaronno-W at Third Level, and making FEI debuts on Austin Chase at Intermediate II and Kelico at Intermediate I!  Julie picked up big wins on Madoc ALL Dun, including the SWDC First Level Freestyle Championship. Lisa Dewar made her fourth level debut on Sunshine and Nadine DeYoung and Shannon Napier both made their Prix St George debuts!  There were so many more great accomplishments so please scroll through the images to learn more about what the team accomplished over the season.

National Dressage Pony Cup and Kentucky Dressage Open Show

In July the LTR team headed to the Kentucky Horse Park to contest the National Dressage Pony Cup and the open KHP Summer shows.  We had a great time and the team was very successful!  Lyndon competed his two open horses, Austin Chase and Intermediate II, and HS Wroosevelt at Third Level and picked up wins on both.  It was a quite a sight to see Lyndon and Wroosevelt trek across the show grounds and through crowds of ponies since he is closer to 18 hands than not!  Nancy Foglia won the Amateur Championship on her mare Heaven's Lil Dually and Julie earned the Open Reserve Championships at First and Second Level. Julie also earned the Overall Year End High Score Championship, Open, for the National Dressage Pony Cup.
